Literacy- This week we wrote about our Thanksgiving break and shared our writing with one another. Next week we will begin writing for others--Christmas cards for servicemen, seniors, and our Book Buddies.
Math- We will wrap up our shapes unit and begin a short unit on ordinal numbers this week. We have started making our Number Bond mittens to display on our bulletin board!
Bible- This week we discussed and began memorizing December's Bible verse- "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders, and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 We watched a video of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing the section of The Messiah, by Handel, that includes this Bible verse. During each Bible lesson we open a Jesse Tree gift.
