LITERACY- We will have the same word study words for the next two weeks. The test will be on Friday, Feb. 20th. We continue to make books in Writing Workshop. After our wonderful trip to Great Harvest Bread Company, we wrote thank you cards to Matt, the owner. Thank you for reading with your child 15 minutes each day!

MATH- We will be adding and subtracting to 40 by making ten. Work for mastery of math facts to 10 with your child. Just a reminder that students love to do Kakooma. You can find this on Greg Tang's (Singapore Math expert) website, www.gregtang.com. Our class is having fun competing in the tournament.

BIBLE- February's  Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6  "Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." We will spend two weeks learning about Daniel.

SCIENCE- We will be starting the science experiment today! We will first talk about what a science experiment involves, and tomorrow we will discuss our topic: camouflage!

**Please remember to send a hat, gloves/mittens and winter coat daily with your child**
