Bible- Easter will be here before we know it! We will learn about Palm Sunday, Jesus washing his disciples feet, and the Last Supper. 

History- Our new history unit, From Colonies to Independence, will begin with our trip to Ash Lawn on Tuesday!

Literacy- We are enjoying the books of Jan Brett. Each literacy group is learning a poem to present at the Poetry Festival onMarch 28th. 

Math- We will continue working on place value, adding and subtracting numbers through 40. We use place value mats and sticks to do much of our work. 

 Upcoming Events

Trip to Ash Lawn- Tuesday, March 18th-We board the bus at 8:40 am and return by lunchtime. Those who signed up as chaperones, please send in $5.00 cash by Monday. Students are to wear their school uniform, including the navy shirt with the TCS logo. Please pack a disposable snack for your child.  Also, please dress them in boots.

There will be school on Monday, March 24th!

Poetry Festival- Friday, March 28th, 1:30 pm, in the gym. All are welcome!

Spring Break- March 29-April 6

Bible Dress-up Day- Wed. April 9th  Detailed information will go home later this month, but be thinking about which person from the Old Testament that we've learned about, your child would like to dress up as. He/she will need to have 2 clues about the person to share. Students will present during chapel.

Lower School Talent Show- April 16, 1:30, audition sign-up sheets must be returned by March 14th
