Bible- Easter will be here before we know it! We will learn about Palm Sunday, Jesus washing his disciples feet, the Last Supper, and the crucifixion. 

History- Our new history unit, From Colonies to Independence, began with our trip to Ash Lawn on Tuesday. We will be learning about the 13 Colonies, Boston Tea Party, Sam Adams, Paul Revere and the American Revolution.

Literacy- We are enjoying the books of Jan Brett. Each literacy group is learning a poem to present at the Poetry Festival on March 28th. We are writing books in Writing Workshop! Ask your child what he/she is writing about. 

Math- We will continue working on place value, adding and subtracting numbers through 40. We use place value mats and sticks to do much of our work. Math Work Stations reinforce our learning.
