Bible- We will learn about Elijah.
History- We have begun studying the country of Mexico. Ask your child to find it on the map!
Literacy-We will continue to work on the proper placement of periods in our writing. We are including dialogue in our work during Writing Workshop.
Math- We are enjoying our unit on place value. Ask your child what "bundling" means! We will use language like this: "23 is two tens and 3 ones."
We go outside for recess even when it is very cold. Please be sure to send a hat and mittens for your child. Please don't send gloves unless your child can put them on by him/herself. Thanks!
