Bible- We are learning about David. This week we will hear about his friendship with Jonathan, how he made King Saul jealous, and then became king. Our Bible verse for November is Psalm 18:1-3, "I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge."
History- We will begin our unit on Egypt by finding Egypt on maps, tracing it, and learning the importance of the Nile River.
Literacy- Word Study checks will be on Thursday, as we have a day off on Friday. Compound words will be introduced, and writing workshop continues three times a week.
Math- We have been working on writing fact families. One number bond can give us two addition and two subtraction sentences! We will be introducing various math stations during our short week, and do some assessments.
