Literacy- Grammar is part of our literacy time. We find compound words in stories we read. We look at word endings, like ing, ed, and s/es and we find nouns and verbs.

Math- We have begun learning about fact families and will continue this week.  Practice subtracting at home with dice. Roll two dice and have your child tell you the number sentence, subtracting the lesser number from the greater one.

Bible- November's Bible verse is, "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. " Psalm 100: 4-8.  This week we will learn about David.

ScienceWe have filled out our box turtle pre-planning project/non-fiction sheets and will begin building on Tuesday.
