LITERACY- We are writing as part of our science project. We continue to make books in Writing Workshop. We are working on putting one idea on a page, and making sure our illustrations give more details about our writing. Thank you for reading with your child 15 minutes each day!
MATH- Our math stations focus on doubles and doubles plus one, place value, money, making ten, chess, time, measurement and addition and subtraction.
BIBLE- This week we will introduce the March Bible verse, Matthew 28:5-6--The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." We will have Bible Dress-up Day on Wednesday and talk about students' prior knowledge of Easter. Then we will begin the first of six Easter lessons with Palm Sunday.
