LITERACY-  Each literacy group is memorizing a poem for the Poetry Festival on April 2. Every student will participate. This is a great way for us to focus on expression, volume, fluency, pace and punctuation. We hope you have the Festival on your calendar!

MATH- We have been learning about different types of graphs- bar graphs, picture graphs, tally graphs, and making some of our own.

BIBLE-  March's Bible verse is Matthew 28:5-6--The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." The story of Easter will be taught in six lessons. We are writing an Easter book, which will be read to our Book Buddies on April 2. Next week we will learn about the crucifixion and the resurrection of our Lord.

**We have a few more days to each bring in 3 items for the local food bank. Many thanks to those who have already contributed.

HISTORY- We had a wonderful trip to Ash Lawn, just as our unit From Colonies to Independence began. Next week we will learn about Paul Revere.
