Bible- We will focus on the story of Christmas for the month of December. December's Bible verse is Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulders. And He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Science- We will learn about taking care of our bodies, focusing on nutrition, exercise and hygiene. Our school nurse, Mrs. Holstege, will help us with this unit.

Literacy-We will be working on the proper placement of periods in our writing. We will begin our next read aloud, Little House in the Big Woods. 

Math- We will be talking about ordinal numbers and position.

Note-Mrs.Wilke and Mrs. Marks will have substitute teachers on Dec. 3rd and 4th. We will be attending a Singapore Math conference, with other teachers in the school.
